① Emulsion Polymerization (the most common use)

It is used as co-monomer for acrylic latex, styrene-acrylic latex, vinyl acetate-acrylic latex.

Add it together with other monomers into the polymerization system at the feeding stage.

Recommended dosage: 1%–4% based on total monomer weight.

Function: Improve calcium stability, mechanical stability, freeze-thaw stability of latex; enhance adhesion and reduce pinholes of coating film.

② Electroplating industry (nickel plating additive)

Dilute with deionized water before adding into nickel plating bath.

Typical dosage: 0.5–3 g/L.

Function: Brightener and leveling agent to get fine, uniform nickel deposit.

③ Water treatment polymer synthesis

Add as co-monomer when synthesizing scale inhibitors and dispersants.

Dosage depends on formula design, usually 2–8%.

④ Textile chemical

Used for preparing antistatic agent and hydrophilic finishing agent.

Mix evenly with other auxiliaries, then pad or coat on fabrics.

2. Operation Notes

This product is aqueous solution, can be mixed with water directly.

It is sensitive to high temperature for long time. Avoid heating above 80℃ for extended periods to prevent self-polymerization.

Keep the system pH within the suitable range of your formula.

Add under stirring for uniform dispersion.

3. Storage

Seal container, store in cool and ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. Prevent self-polymerization.
