Applications
Tetrapeptide-21 is a water-soluble cosmetic peptide used as a formulation ingredient in skincare products. INCI Name: Tetrapeptide-21
Recommended Dosage
Pure powder: 0.001%–0.01% (10–100 ppm). For a common 1000 ppm stock solution: 2%–5% addition in formula. Suitable for serum, ampoule, toner, lotion, cream, eye care and mask formulations.
Addition Process
Water-soluble. Add at temperature below 40℃ under gentle stirring. Long-time high temperature should be avoided to prevent activity loss.
Suitable pH range: 4.5–7.0
Compatible with hyaluronic acid, ceramide, niacinamide and other peptides. Do not coexist with high-concentration strong acid or strong oxidant for a long time.
Application for Finished Skincare Products
After cleansing, apply the serum or solution containing Tetrapeptide-21 on skin, pat until absorbed, then follow with lotion or cream. Use 1–2 times daily.
